Return Divers Rock!
This last week was like a Manini Dive Company Hawaii Club reunion. Heather and Sasha Bourkovski dove the YO 257 San Pedro shipwreck combo and the Sea Tiger. Sasha celebrated his 50th birthday with a dive to the YO 257. On the boat we got to catch up on all the news. They got their PADI Open Water Certification back in 2003. Their daughter Nadia did her Bubble Makers when she was five and can’t wait until she is old enough next year to do her PADI Junior Open Water Certification. Richard and John are airline pilots who get in a dive when they are in Honolulu on a lay-over. Richard told the story about when a massive Tako (octopus) worked him over while diving the Sea Tiger. Good weather, Great dives with Turtles, Octopus and lots of colorful topical fish. We could hear the Humpback Whales singing on our dives and Dolphins swam along with the boat. Lots of laughs and we all got to catch up while diving off the Kahala Kai.
