The PADI Open Water Certification
The PADI Open Water Certification course can be completed in three days.
PADI allows a student to teacher ratio of Eight to One. Our Semi-private ratio is a maximum of Four to One. A Private Course is One to One.
Day One: Confined Water. This is calm clear water you can stand up in. You will learn, practice and master skills. You will be given the Open Water Manual and take home quizzes.
Day Two: Open Water Dives One and Two. On this day, you will be given the PADI dive tables and review completed quizzes and knowledge reviews.
Day Three: Open Water Dives Three and Four. You will complete all skills and dive flexible skills. All quizzes will be graded. You then will take your final exam. Upon completion, you will be given a temporary Certification Card. Your permanent care will be mailed to you.
PADI Advanced Open Water
The PADI Advanced Open Water is a Three-day course. There are Five dives with one extra “fun dive” There is a text book and you are required to complete the knowledge review prior to each dive. You will brief, dive and debrief.
There are two Core Dives:
Deep Dive. Deeper than Sixty feet or Eighteen Meters.
Navigation Dive: With a compass, you will navigate a square and a triangle. You will navigate from boat to another location. Using your compass, you will navigate back to the boats location.
You will do Three Elective Dives: Your choices include dives like Night Dive, Wreck Dive, Underwater Photography etc.
Rescue Diver and Dive Master Courses
The Rescue Diver and Dive Master course are specialty classes taught by special arrangement only. Please email with your inquiries and/or for more information.
Upon completion, you will be given a temporary card. Your permanent card will be mailed to you.
